Design
The most meaningful learning becomes part of how we think, relate to one another, make decisions, and move through our everyday lives. It ripples into our teams, our organizations, and the communities we're accountable to.

This is the kind of learning I design.

Rather than creating experiences that end when the session does, I design learning that people can return to, practice, and carry forward long after they've left the room.

My Approach

I believe learning is most transformative when people don't simply understand a new idea but have opportunities to question it, practice it, reflect on it, and make it their own.

Every learning experience is designed to honor the knowledge people already bring with them while inviting them into new ways of thinking, relating, and taking action.

My work is informed by trauma-informed pedagogy, culturally sustaining practice, adult learning theory, systems thinking, and embodied learning. These come together to create learning environments where curiosity, belonging, and meaningful change can take root.

What This Looks Like

Learning begins with lived experience, so participants' identities and expertise become the starting place for the learning.

We create space for honest dialogue by setting clear agreements so trust, curiosity, and mutual respect can flourish. People are invited to engage with complexity, making room for multiple perspectives while staying connected to shared purpose.

Throughout the experience, learners encounter the material in many different ways. Reflection, dialogue, storytelling, visual thinking, collaborative problem-solving, movement, and experiential practice are woven together so each person has multiple pathways into the learning.

Ideas are explored through real-world scenarios, opportunities to experiment, thoughtful feedback, and time to reflect, adjust, and deepen understanding while learning is still unfolding.

Because our nervous systems shape how we learn, moments of pause, movement, and reflection are intentionally built into the experience. Integration is part of the workshop itself.

What a Learning Experience Feels Like

My workshops are designed to feel more like a conversation than a presentation.

People spend less time passively consuming information and more time making meaning together.
They reflect individually, think alongside peers, test ideas in real-world scenarios, and build on one another's insights as the learning unfolds.

Assessment isn't reserved for the end but instead woven throughout the experience, allowing us to notice what's resonating, where more support is needed, and how the learning can adapt in real time. By the time participants leave, they've already begun putting their learning into practice.

What People Walk Away With

Rather than simply leaving with a slide deck or a page of notes, participants leave with...

-
Practices they can return to in their everyday work.
-
Resources designed to be revisited, adapted, and shared.
-
A shared language that strengthens collaboration across teams.
-
Learning they've already begun to integrate.
