Social Emotional Learning Design

Jeselle brings a warm, grounded, embodied, intentional approach to the learning spaces she cultivates, where playfulness, authenticity, and critical thinking go hand in hand.

Children are seen in their wholeness and nurtured in developing nervous system regulation, global perspectives, and pro-social skills like communication, conflict resolution, boundaries, and executive functioning.

She honors every child and delicately balances their identity, personal strengths, and lived experience to curate a learning plan for their needs, one that helps them set and achieve goals in their social-emotional development.

Coaching for Children

One-on-one support for a single child, 45-60 minutes, in person or virtually.

A learning plan built around that child's identity, strengths, and goals, revisited and reshaped as they grow.

Coaching for Families

For families wanting ongoing support, so they can understand and respond to what's underneath their child's behavior, learn to regulate their own nervous system alongside their child's, and repair and reconnect through honest communication.

Some of this happens in sessions with parents alone, some happens together with their child, depending on what the family needs.

School & Organization Partnership

For schools, districts, and organizations ready to bring this work to their students at scale.

This can look like:

  • Teacher trainings that approach classroom management through a nervous-system, pro-social lens, where behavior is understood as communication, not a bad child needing correction

  • School- or county-wide systems design, building a behavior management system meant to transform school culture, strengthen student-teacher relationships, and reshape how students relate to the school environment, work that lays the groundwork academic success is built on.
